Children Obesity
In this modern society, people lead a busy, hurried and flying life. Too many things constitute all the time of them. Therefore, various diseases strike people’s health. Obesity is one of the biggest problems that people suffer. Especially, there are increasing numbers of children getting fatter and fatter. Children’s obesity results from the carelessness of their parents, eating too much, and the lack of exercise.
First, parents’ carelessness about proper diet contribute to children obesity. Most children enjoy going to the MacDonald, Pizza Hut and all of the fast-food restaurants, but their parents just totally comply with their children’s needs without telling them the right and proper eating habits.
Furthermore, the insufficient knowledge of parents of nutrition is also a consequence of children obesity. That can lead to the next result. The overweight of most of children s results from their improper eating habits. They like to eat high fat foods, including burgers, French fries and ice cream. Furthermore, extra desserts such as chocolate cakes, lollipops and potato chips are their favorite. Moreover, the increase of all-you-can-eat restaurants is a consequence of overweight children. When they go to the restaurants, they can’t help eating until they feel that is worth it. Therefore, bad eating habits are the most important reason of the increase of overweight children.
The lack of exercise is also one of the reasons that cause the obesity of children. They spend most of their time on other things, such as going to cram schools, doing everyday homework, surfing on the Internet, etc. Parents are so busy at their works that they don’t pay much attention to their kids. Because of these reasons, the time that they spend on doing exercise is little. Children are getting fatter and fatter, and they even get problems on their health.
As a result, we can gain a clear picture that the overweight of children results from overeating, the lack of exercise and the neglect of their parents.
